TR Year-end Top 50s: The men, Nos. 1-5

Djokovic can now be called an all-time great.

1. Novak Djokovic

Without a doubt, the Serbian

  1. In my opinion Nadal had a better year than Murray. In five months he won a slam. two masters and a 500 tournament. It took Murray the whole season to win a slam, the olympic gold and a 250 tournament. I believe Roger Federer said, “There is an argument that Rafa was the best player of the year because we don’t know how he would have played in the remaining 6 months.” I don’t necessarily agree with that last statement. We can only judge by their achievements at the end of the year, but all in all Rafa achieved more than Murray.
