There were a few things that Rafael Nadal could have done to pull himself deeper into the fourth set of his devastating 6-4, 6-1, 1-6, 6-3 loss to Novak Djokovic in the Wimbledon final. He could have charged the net more often when the Serbian was way off the court in an attempt to close out points rather than having Djokovic hustle his way back into them. He could have gone down the line hard more with both his forehand and backhand. He could have drawn Djokovic to net more on his terms.
