HEADING U.S. OPEN SITE

USTA National Tennis Center facility director named

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., AUGUST 10 Daniel Zausner will be named director, facility operations, for the USTA National Tennis Center, effective October 1, Arlen Kantarian, Chief Executive, Professional Tennis of the USTA announced today . The National Tennis Center is the world's largest public tennis facility and the home of the U.S. Open.

Zausner comes to the USTA after a 17-year career in venue management, including six years with industry leader Ogden Entertainment. For the next few months, Zausner will work closely with current Director of the NTC, David Meehan (who announced his retirement last week) on a consulting basis. Zausner will
assume the position on a full time basis on October 1.

"Danny brings a vast amount of experience in all aspects of facilities
management and event operations to the USTA," said Arlen Kantarian, USTA
Chief Executive, Professional Tennis. "In addition, his experience in
booking and promoting events fits very well with our long range plans to
continue to expand and develop the facility not only as the most
state-of-the-art tennis complex in the world, but into a venue that can
serve a variety of functions for the sports and entertainment fans of the
City of New York."

The Englewood, New Jersey resident joins the USTA after 17 years in venue
management and event management business, with industry leaders Ogden
Entertainment and Metropolitan Entertainment. Most recently, he served as
Senior Vice President at Ogden, a worldwide leader of venue management, food
and beverage, box office services, union negotiations, capital improvement
programs, security operations, and related services to stadiums, arenas,
convention centers, and amphitheaters throughout the world. His most recent
assignment included supervision of over 60 managed venues including
Arrowhead Pond-Anaheim, Corel Center - Ottawa, Ontario; Target
Center-Minneapolis, Olympic Stadium-Sydney, and the World Trade Center
Observation Deck-NY. During his tenure at Ogden, he served as the on-site
supervisor of the design, development, construction, and opening of Arena
Oberhausen, a 13,000 seat arena in Germany.
