Maria Sharapova has become only the second female player to win the TennisReporters.net Sexiest Female Player Poll twice, joining five time winner Ana Ivanovic with the honor.
After failing to win the poll in its first seven years, the 26-year-old Sharapova has now won it two straight years, coming back from an early deficit to overcome strong efforts by two of her on court rivals, Victoria Azarenka and Caroline Wozniacki, who won the 2011 poll.
Three poll debutantes, Alize Lim, Sloane Stephens and Bojana Jovanovski all pulled in votes but were unable to make big enough pushes in order to surpass the veterans in the 2013.
